Secondly: your link doesn't say anything about Wiundows 2012 - dirvers there finish on 2008. We don't need server drivers for Win 2012, we don't even need HP driver for ATI ES1000. It would probably be enough to have AMD driver for 2012, or tweak ES1000/Radeon7000 driver for Win2008x64.

Installation:
Download the Smart Component to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The downloaded file is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the Smart Component Number.

From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file.

DESCRIPTION

An HP ProLiant server configured with an on-board ATI ES1000 Video Controller and running Microsoft Windows Server 2012 may be unable to display in '16 bit color: maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200' or '32 bit color: maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024.'

The ATI ES1000 video controller is only supported by the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter driver in Windows Server 2012.

DETAILS

On an HP ProLiant server configured with an on-board ATI ES1000 Video Controller , when clicking Advanced Settings under Control PanelAppearanceDisplayScreen ResolutionAdvanced Settings, the 'Adapter' tab displays the Adapter Type as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. The Maximum Resolution for the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter is 1024 x 768.

HP has no plans for ATI ES1000 video driver support for Windows Server 2012.

If a server does not have a Windows Display Driver Model-compliant graphics driver, Windows Server 2012 uses Microsoft Basic Display Adapter as the default adapter.
